THE BEARDS AND JEBEDIAH TO HEADLINE BITTER AND TWISTED 2014

The world’s premier beard-related rock act The Beards and pioneering Australian punk rock & grunge band
Jebediah will headline the 2014 Bitter and Twisted International Boutique Beer Festival, which returns to the
historic Maitland Gaol on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November.
With hits including ‘You Should Consider Having Sex with a Bearded Man’, ‘If Your Dad Doesn't have a Beard,
You've Got Two Mums’ and 'Got me a Beard', The Beards are sure to reveal your twisted side and set the tone of
this year’s Saturday line up with their catchy beard related tunes.
Having just released a brand new album and completed a 44 date national tour, The Beards will be a popular
addition to Bitter and Twisted in 2014.
With top billings at Big Day Out, Livid and Homebake, Jebediah are veterans of the stage and promise to deliver a
high tempo performance on the Sunday. With a host of popular hits to their name including Leaving Home,
Military Strongman, Teflon, Harpoon, Fall Down, No Sleep and Animal, Jebediah are sure to get the crowd up on
their feet.
Also confirmed to Join The Beards on the Saturday line up will be Melbourne collective, Eagle and the Worm. More
acts for this year’s event are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Maitland City Council Coordinator Events Adam Franks says ‘It is fantastic to have two world renowned bands
locked in for this year’s event. We are confident The Beards and Jebediah will be the perfect complement to the
fantastic range of Australian craft beer and delicious food on offer as part of this event’.
To coincide with International Beer Day, tickets for Bitter & Twisted will be released this Friday 1 August.
